About Venture Farm

Ginger and Mike Albert have owned and operated Venture Farm since 1995. They live on-site and manage their 100-acre horse farm on a daily basis, ensuring that every horse and pony receive top notch professional care.

Ginger Klingenstein-Albert has a lifetime of experience in the horse industry. She enjoys training students and horses of all ages, levels and experience. Individual programs are developed for each horse and rider, dependent on their needs. Riders are encouraged to reach their full potential, while still enjoying the sport and its benefits. A show program is available, as well as various other activities such as beach rides, trail rides, or just hacking out after your lesson. Horses are also available for leasing.

With years of award-winning, national-level competing and training, Ginger brings experience as a rider and trainer that is difficult to find in Maine. Her students range from beginners - young and old - to gold medal winning Olympic competitors. Ginger trains students and horses, competing and winning over the years at shows such as Devon, Old Salem, HITS, Saratoga, Ox Ridge, Fairfield, Vermont Summer Festival, USEF Pony Finals, ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Medal Finals, USET Medal Finals, Washington International, the Quarter Horse Congress, Radnor, Bromont, the World Championships as well as the Olympics.

Ginger was the coach of the Bates Equestrian Team from 2012-2014. She had two riders place top ten individually over fences at IHSA National Finals in 2014, and also had multiple riders qualify for Zone and Regional finals.

Ginger also is the President of the Downeast Medal Finals Horse Show. Running since 2007, this regional medal final is designed to give a national level equitation medal final experience to all competitors.
